The LACI APC Fellowship Program is a multi-tiered workforce training pipeline program to provide technical training, interpersonal skills, and industry-recognized certifications to succeed in the green economy. Participants in the program are paired with LACI startups and partners for internships and job opportunities—all part of our mission to build an inclusive green economy.
The APC Fellowship Program timeline is as follows:
30 students are selected to participate in an five-week technical bootcamp focused on E-Mobility maintenance and troubleshooting.
This is graduation day for the Technical Bootcamp fellows, during which they showcase the projects they’ve been working on.
Fifteen graduates will participate in three-month internships and receive technical support and continuing education from training contractors.
October 4 – Career Fair
Students are invited to participate in a career fair with LACI startups, partner organizations and employers.
Students in the Technical Bootcamp gain industry-recognized credentials.
Electric Vehicle Maintenance Fundamentals
(vehicle safety, different hybrid system configurations, high voltage battery construction and maintenance, de-powering procedures and basic service)
