New Business Development Training Course

APPLICATION OPEN NOW! 

LACI’s new Business Development Training Course will kick off on March 20, 2023. This comprehensive course provides participants with the skills needed to successfully execute business development strategies for Cleantech Startups. During this free six-week training, 30 participants will gain an understanding of the sales cycle, market fit and business discovery, and the use of business canvas models. Throughout the program, participants are paired with LACI startups and partners for paid internships and job opportunities.

Programs Overview

Students have gained technical skills in Product Development, Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment Maintenance, Software Development & IT Support; and Electric Vehicle Maintenance including fundamentals in safety, network operating systems, high voltage battery construction and maintenance, de-powering procedures, and basic service, while their interpersonal skills are enhanced by problem-solving, teamwork, communication, listening, and creative development. Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Technician Fellowship

40 participants will gain the skills to perform the maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE). They will gain an understanding of EVSE technical knowledge and electrical safety processes and procedures, and will be provided with hands-on experience to perform general maintenance needs.

Building Decarbonization Fellowship 

40 participants will focus on building infrastructure and how to leverage technology when managing the distribution of energy. 

Applications Open June 2023

Project Management Training Course

30 participants will gain the skills to successfully manage projects as they relate to EVSE Maintenance Infrastructure deployment. Individuals who are dislocated, incumbent workers and those transitioning from the oil and gas industry are especially encouraged to apply.
