“The Transportation Electrification Partnership is an unprecedented multi-year partnership among local, regional, and state stakeholders to accelerate transportation electrification and zero emissions goods movement in the Greater Los Angeles region in advance of the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The Partnership was established through a collaborative process among members of the Partnership’s Leadership Group, consisting of the heads of or senior executives from the California Air Resources Board (CARB), City of Los Angeles, County of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro), the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP), and Southern California Edison (SCE).
The Leadership Group is complemented by a growing and influential Advisory Group, comprised of representatives from leading automakers, industry organizations, public sector agencies, startup companies and labor organizations. The original Advisory Group members included BMW Group, BYD Motors, Greenlots, Itron Idea Labs, PCS Energy, Southern California International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers-National Electrical Contractors Association (IBEW-NECA), South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD), and Tesla. Over the course of the past year, the Partnership has welcomed AMPLY Power, Audi, Clean Power Alliance (CPA), Culver City, Nissan North America, Proterra, and the Southern California Public Power Authority (SCPPA) to the Advisory Group.”
