Want American Energy Dominance? Invest in Advanced Energy Startups

It takes a village to scale a startup. Upfront costs, economic fluctuations, and the demands of product development make bringing new technologies to market a formidable challenge. Tariffs and federal funding cuts make it even harder.

Advanced energy incubators provide crucial support for startups, and yet the amount of federal funding dedicated to incubators and accelerators is paltry given the need to achieve American energy dominance. That is in great part why LACI formed the NCCEI to advocate for additional resources for early stage advanced energy startups and entrepreneurs to move at speed and scale, and provide a voice for the community in Washington and other venues.
