Building a skilled workforce

The Roadmap lays out the priority actions the Green Jobs Regional Partnership should take between 2025 and 2028 to ensure LA County has a sufficient pipeline of skilled workers to meet the demand for green jobs. The Green Jobs Regional Partnership focuses on transportation electrification as the initial focus for this Roadmap to realize the county’s transportation electrification goals, including those laid out in LACI’s Transportation Electrification Partnership (TEP) Roadmap.

Workforce Needs Assessment and Training Landscape

This report is background research that assesses the current landscape of electric vehicle and electric vehicle support equipment occupations and training opportunities in LA County. It builds on existing LACI studies, incorporates both quantitative data and qualitative data sourced from the Green Jobs Regional Partnership members, and identifies job targets informed by the Transportation Electrification Partnership’s 2028 goals.
