Official Behind the Scenes Sneak Preview of BATWorks

NYCEDC recently announced a consortium led by LACI, CIC, NYU, CUNY and Perkins&Will to design and operate “BATWorks,” a cutting-edge climate innovation hub. LACI will advise on climate programming and lead the “Pilots at BAT” program, creating new piloting opportunities for existing LACI startups. BATWorks will strengthen the relationship between the nation’s two largest cities on climate innovation.

This LACI and The Rockefeller Foundation co-hosted event will focus on driving climate innovation in cities, sharing experience and learnings from technology providers, green finance, and cities with ongoing collaboration, to explore priority climate challenges to pursue, and identify long-term funding structures and transformative policies for cities to grow their innovation ecosystem and drive climate solutions.
