Sasha has over 30 years of experience helping organizations and brands find their voice and connect their products and services with customers and communities, to raise awareness, funds, stakeholder satisfaction, customer loyalty, and advance missions. She began her career in the Licensing department of Carolco Pictures Inc. where she managed product licensing for film franchises such as Rambo and Terminator. Sasha went on to launch creative service and experiential marketing agencies DNA Creative and On The Go Marketing, in Los Angeles, working with television and national brand clients such as ABC, Bravo, Mercedes-Benz, NBC, SKYY Spirits, Starbucks, the United States Olympics Committee, Virgin America, and Wrigley’s.
Sasha’s nonprofit career began when she was tapped as the Vice President of Marketing and Community Relations at Goodwill Southern California (GSC). There she produced the first Stand Down for Veterans in Los Angeles, and several community hiring events including those with Mayor Eric Garcetti’s Veteran Administration for his 10,000 Strong initiative, as well as local and national promotions with Beyoncé, Amy Schumer, the LA Lakers, NBC Universal and more.
Prior to joining LACI, Sasha was also the COO of the Cowboy and Rousseau Animal Assistance Fund (CARAAF) a nonprofit dedicated to providing seriously sick and injured rescue dogs and their families with medical grants to help them heal. Today, her office mates include her four rescue dogs, Carley, a Cheagle from the streets of LA, Elliot and Bodhi, two animal testing survivor Beagles, and Josie, a who-knows-what-mix tripod, who supervise her daily operations and ensure Sasha takes time to stretch in between meetings.
