What We Need:

A Customer Care internship is generally offered to students pursuing studies in operations, business development, computer science, or other related fields.  Excellent customer service skills are essential for every role at Avisare.

A customer care internship is designed to provide students with practical knowledge of technical customer care related issues at Avisare.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to users by phone, email and chat
  • Understand users’ queries and requests and troubleshoot issues
  • Research efficient ways to help improve our processes for customers
  • Research special projects on an as needed basis regarding our users
  • Perform video screen share tutorials/help when needed
  • Process customer requests
  • Forward complaints to Administrative Staff
  • Attend training sessions designed for customer care associates
  • Perform administrative tasks assigned by Customer Care Supervisor
  • Assure client focus, confidentiality, and privacy before, during and after service
  • Assist other departments with daily projects and day-to-day operations as needed

  • Be very friendly and enjoy interacting with people
  • Interact with clients via telephone, email, chat and in person at events (on occasion)

  • Attention to detail
  • Take direction well and be self starters
  • Be willing to go above and beyond to give the ultimate customer care experience
  • Be good at multi-tasking
  • Be dependable with strong work ethics
  • Have strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Be customer service-oriented and learn techniques to best serve clients
  • Review issues tracker and communicate with developers for bug fixes

Program Duration and Location:

  • Spring: February through May
  • Summer: June through August
  • Fall: September through December
